Nike today in partnership with the newest Barça star Neymar launched their latest range of football weaponry, the Hypervenom, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Done to promote the Brazilian 2014 World Cup but also the Confederation Cup beginning on June 15, 2013, the boots will be released to the public in July at an estimated cost of 160 pound sterling. The boot was engineered in collaboration with Neymar and has been designed to provide the closest control ever. Using Nike’s new “NikeSkin” technology the shoe is said to have the closest degree of contact to the ball ever. On the new orange and black masterpiece, Neymar said: ”This boot is not only comfortable but beautiful. I worked with Nike designers and wore several prototypes before we found the perfect fit“.
